A sales area is the combination of a Sales Organization, a Distribution Channel and a Division. With the transaction above you can assign a Plant to the combination of Sales Organization and Distribution Channel.

How to create a Sales Division in SAP
Menu: SPRO -> IMG -> Entreprise Structure -> Definition -> Logistics - General -> Define, copy, delete, check division
Click on New Entries and add the data for the division and click Save.
